Care and Cleaning of Swarovski Crystal Beads and Jewelry

Crystals may chip against hard surfaces. Heavily turned wire onto crystals in jewelry making may split or chip crystals - use a light hand. Crystals can cut through elastic jewelry cord, for best results use a bead reamer inside hole of bead to soften edges before stringing. Regular clear and colored crystal beads may be safely cleaned in any of the following: hot soapy water ammonia and water most jewelry cleaners followed by a hot rinse, air dry, and minimize finger prints when handling for best brilliance. Crystals with coatings and AB finishes will last longer using only warm soapy water cleaning. Store crystal beads or jewelry in soft or card board boxes, plastic containers or bags, or jewelry wraps.
